Teddy Swims brought his “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” tour to Singapore and it turned
out to be one of the warmest and most genuine concerts of the year. The venue was already
buzzing long before the show started, and the moment Teddy walked out, the entire place
exploded with cheers.
NNT MODE managed to secure tickets, and from the moment he
stepped on stage, you could feel that this was going to be a special night.
He opened the show with songs from his latest album, and his voice sounded even richer live
than on the recordings. Teddy sings with so much feeling that it fills the whole space without
him needing anything fancy on stage. Fans were already singing along from the start, and the
energy in the room rose quickly. Even the slower songs held the crowd in place because
everyone was so tuned in to his vocals.
As the show went on, Teddy performed a mix of fan favourites and newer tracks. When the
intro to Bad Dreams started, the entire venue reacted instantly. People screamed, lights went
up and the whole room sang almost every word. Devil in a Dress came next and it brought a
different kind of vibe, heavier and more soulful, and Teddy carried it effortlessly. His band
added such a nice live touch to the song that it felt even more emotional than the studio
version.
Then came Lose Control, and this was easily one of the loudest crowd moments of the night.
Fans sang over the chorus with full volume, and the lighting made the whole stage glow in deep
colours that matched the mood. You could feel the energy shift and lift at the same time. Right
after that, Teddy performed Bed on Fire, and the venue fell into a softer, quieter space. His
voice was strong and emotional, and for a moment, you could feel how connected everyone was
to the performance. It was a standout moment that left people really moved.
Teddy spoke to the crowd in between songs, and that made the show feel even more personal.
He joked around, thanked everyone for being there and shared little thoughts about the songs
he was performing. He talked about the meaning behind the album title and how the project
came from a place of honesty and trying to work through his own feelings. The whole room
listened closely, and the atmosphere turned calm and heartfelt for a few minutes.
The band behind him played a major role in shaping the night. Their live arrangements added
warmth and soul to every song, whether it was a slow ballad or a more upbeat track. The guitar
solos, the drums and even the soft backing vocals all blended nicely. The lighting stayed simple
but effective, changing colours and tones to match the mood of each song without
overpowering the performance.
