IU and Lee Jong Suk End Their Relationship After 4 Years

Singer-actress IU and actor Lee Jong Suk have officially ended their relationship after four years together.

On July 10, IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, confirmed the news, sharing that the pair have decided to remain good colleagues. Lee Jong Suk’s agency, Ace Factory, also confirmed the breakup.

IU and Lee Jong Suk first met in 2012 while serving as MCs for SBS’s Inkigayo. Years later, the two developed a relationship and eventually went public with their romance, becoming one of South Korea’s most beloved celebrity couples.

Throughout their four years together, they largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight while quietly supporting one another. They were also admired for their charitable contributions, including making year-end donations that reflected their shared commitment to giving back.

IU continues to enjoy a successful career as both a singer and actress, with acclaimed projects including My Mister, Hotel Del Luna, Broker, and When Life Gives You Tangerines. Lee Jong Suk remains one of Korea’s leading actors, known for dramas such as Pinocchio, While You Were Sleeping, Big Mouth, and Law and the City.

Although their romantic relationship has come to an end, both agencies confirmed that IU and Lee Jong Suk have chosen to remain good colleagues as they continue focusing on their individual careers.
