BIGBANG Marks 20 Years With ‘BiiiG’ and ‘XX : COSMOS’ World Tour
20 years after their debut, BIGBANG is celebrating the milestone with new music and a world tour.
G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG released their new digital single, “BiiiG,” on August 19, exactly 20 years since BIGBANG made their debut. The single arrived alongside its official music video, bringing together the bold styling and playful visual direction teased throughout the group’s comeback rollout.
The anniversary celebrations have also taken over parts of Seoul. Until August 23, special spaces around Songpa-gu are giving fans a chance to revisit BIGBANG’s two-decade journey through a media exhibition, fan activities and merchandise booths.
Next comes the stage.
BIGBANG will open their “XX : COSMOS” world tour with three nights at Goyang Stadium from August 21 to 23. The tour will continue across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia, with 33 shows across 19 cities.
For BIGBANG, the 20th anniversary is shaping up to be more than a look back at the past. With “BiiiG” now out and a major world tour about to begin, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG are stepping into their next chapter together.
