Team NNT MODE, and NNT Cosmic News had the honor of attending Doh Kyungsoo’s “DO it!”
concert in Singapore on August 23 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and what an unforgettable evening it was. From the moment the lights dimmed and the opening stage of ‘Do You Remember’ filled the stadium, the crowd was
swept into an atmosphere of anticipation and awe. The two-hour concert featured a generous 22 track lineup, including fan favourites and 2 encore tracks, Rose and SING ALONG!. What stood out most, beyond the impeccable vocals and flawless live band arrangement, was the sense of intimacy Kyungsoo created. Every song felt personal, every interaction heartfelt. This wasn’t just a concert, it was an experience, one that blurred the line between artist and fans in the most magical way.
Throughout the evening, Kyungsoo shared lighthearted moments that endeared him even more
to the fans. During his first ment, he joked about heading out for Singapore’s famous chili and black pepper crab “I’m going to have fight with the crabs later tonight.” A promise he
cheekily kept before flying out to Seoul.
At another ment, he talked about his outfit that came with a small bell tied around
his wrist. “Actually, this outfit came with a small bell, and the bell made some noise,”
he explained with a grin,“but we took it off because it was a little too noisy. When I
wear this outfit, I feel so calm and comfortable.”
Fans responded in unison, catching him off guard. “You guys knew? How do you know? I’m the one wearing it!” he said laughing before kissing the bell and sending the crowd into a frenzy.
One of the night’s most moving moments came during In Another Life. The song
carried a quiet weight, a tender message of gratitude that Kyungsoo himself moments later. “Thank you so much for always staying healthy, thank you so much for
staying happy like this. Everyone who is here with me right now is precious. Please
always stay healthy, and I truly hope you will always be happy. Did you get it?!”
As the main stage closed with Somebody, fans weren’t ready to say their goodbye.
Kyungsoo then returned to the stage for a joyous encore, performing ‘Rose’ and ‘SING
ALONG!’ to a stadium full of fans on their feet, singing and dancing with him until
the vey last note.
In those closing moments, the bond between artist and fans felt unshakable, a
shared memory carved into the hearts of everyone there.
Before leaving the stage, Kyungsoo promised to return to Singapore soon. As we left the stadium, the energy lingered – a mixture of gratitude and joy, and anticipation. Two hours of pure
live vocals, effortless charm, and emotional connection reminded us why Kyungsoo is more than just an artist, he is an experienced artist. And when he returns, Singapore will be ready to
welcome him again.
