Nicolas Ghesquière captures quiet luxury inside the Louvre.

Inside the Musée du Louvre, Louis Vuitton unveiled its Spring Summer 2026 collection with an atmosphere that felt personal and
intimate.
Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière transformed Anne of Austria’s former apartments into a soft, glowing salon where
heritage met modern ease. The show invited guests to slow down and see fashion as something that breathes, not something that
performs.
The collection moved with calm precision. Ghesquière explored structure and flow, mixing tailored jackets with airy layers, and blending comfort with poise. Fabrics glided as the models walked, from silk and satin to soft wool and chiffon. Every look carried lightness, shaping the collection around ease rather than extravagance.
The color palette stayed gentle, focusing on ivory, sand, and powder tones. Occasional silver accents and muted blues caught the light without overpowering. The silhouettes felt familiar yet free, with cropped jackets, long skirts, and draped pieces that followed the body’s rhythm. Ghesquière built an idea of modern elegance that feels effortless and human.
Accessories completed the quiet story. Oversized bags rested loosely on the arm, metallic belts shaped the waist, and soft boots grounded the looks. Jewelry shimmered just enough to catch attention before fading back into stillness. Nothing felt loud. Everything carried intention

The front row reflected the same poise. BLACKPINK’s Lisa brought a touch of pastel softness in a lilac and cream knit cardigan with floral detailing on the collar. She wore it over a light yellow top and pink knit shorts, finished with a checkered corset-style belt. Her two-tone Louis Vuitton handbag in cream and baby blue added freshness to her look, balancing playful charm with refined craftsmanship.

Stray Kids’ Felix offered contrast with a structured white jacket featuring metal details and a zip front, styled over black tailored trousers. His minimal silver jewelry and brown Louis Vuitton
duffle bag created a clean, polished finish. Felix’s presence captured the modern side of the house. blending youth with understated luxury.
Together, they represented a generation of global icons who understand fashion as expression, not performance. Their looks mirrored the show’s balance of elegance and ease, bridging street
presence with Parisian grace.
As the final models stepped through the mirrored room, the air turned still. The light shifted across the walls, leaving only the sound of fabric moving softly against marble. The collection
closed without spectacle, ending instead in quiet reflection.
Louis Vuitton SS26 reminded the world that luxury is not about display. It is about presence, emotion, and how clothing makes you feel.
Ghesquière showed that calm can be powerful and that true elegance is found in moments of stillness
