CELINE SS26: The Quiet Return of Poise

Michael Rider brings a new rhythm of simplicity to the house.

At Paris Fashion Week, Celine revealed its Spring Summer 2026 collection under the creative direction of Michael Rider,
introducing a softer vision for the brand. The show took place at Parc de Saint-Cloud, surrounded by nature and light. It felt personal and still, a reflection of Rider’s intention to return fashion to its most natural state.

The collection explored the relationship between structure and ease. Tailored coats, long skirts, and wide trousers carried a calm flow. Crisp shirts were layered under relaxed jackets, and light knits added texture without heaviness. Each look moved gracefully, allowing the fabric to breathe. It was modern but quiet, strong but never forced.

The color story stayed neutral and warm. Ivory, sand, and soft brown were the core, with deep navy and muted burgundy adding depth. Textures blended naturally, combining fine wool, silk, and cotton with touches of sheer chiffon. The clothes felt
wearable and honest, designed for real movement and real life. Accessories followed the same tone. Small structured bags, polished belts, and clean leather boots added balance to the fluid
silhouettes. Jewelry stayed minimal, only adding a faint glimmer under the sun. Everything looked thoughtful and personal, a true reflection of Rider’s attention to detail.

The front row carried that same sense of calm refinement. BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) made an impression in a camel doublebreasted coat style over a crisp white shirt and a printed tie. The warm tone of the coat highlighted his features under the natural light, and the subtle pattern on the tie brought a touch of playfulness to the sharp tailoring, His look felt timeless, elegant, and true to the essence of Celine.

V’s presence at the show captured the same quiet confidence as the collection. He looked composed and effortless stylish, standing out without needing ti try. His outfit mirrored the spirit of
the house, precise, balanced, and graceful.

As the show continued, soft music played over the sound of wind passing through the open venue. The models walked through sunlight, their clothes moving with an easy rhythm. There was
no rush or noise, only stillness and beauty. The closing look, a long beige coat over a sheer silk blouse, summed up Rider’s approach perfectly: quiet power in simplicity.

Celine SS26 marked a new beginning, not through change, but through clarity. Rider’s debut showed that elegance doesn’t need to shout. It only needs space to exist.

This season, Celine reminded the world that calm can be its own kind of confidence.
