August brings a fresh mix of beauty launches, from new makeup and skin prep by JUNGSAEMMOOL to a tropical take on LANEIGE’s signature lip care and a refreshed Biossance favourite. Here’s what has landed on the MODE radar this month.
JUNGSAEMMOOL
JUNGSAEMMOOL has plenty of newness this August, covering skin prep, eyes, lips, cheeks and highlight.
Starting with the skin, the Essential Mool Hydro Base Prep is a lightweight, water-based serum made to sit between skincare and foundation. The formula contains more than 98% skincare ingredients, including Blue Peptide, Blue PDRN and JUNGSAEMMOOL Mool Peptide™, bringing hydration to the skin while helping create a smoother canvas for makeup. Its watery texture also keeps things light underneath foundation without leaving a greasy feel.
For the eyes, the new Artist Eye Palette Core explores colour through six palettes. Red Brown, Orange Brown and Yellow Brown make up the Core selection, while Soft Nude, Pale Nude and Smoky Nude offer three more neutral options. Across the collection, matte, satin, shimmer and glitter textures give plenty of room to mix finishes and build different looks.
The new LIP-PRESSION Glowy Tint brings a lighter approach to glossy lips. Its watery texture delivers sheer colour on the first layer, with the option to build up both intensity and shine. Nine types of Hyaluronic Acid, six types of Peptides and Vitamin E are also included to keep lips feeling moisturised.
There is more colour for the cheeks too. The Artist Cushion Blush Blur welcomes seven shades: Mellow Peach, Hazy Mauve, Peach Flush, Soft Pansy, Smoky Rose, Misty Rosy and Berry Veil. Made with 83% moisture essence, the cushion formula balances hydration with a softly blurred, soft-matte finish. Smoky Rose, Misty Rosy and Berry Veil will be available exclusively at JUNGSAEMMOOL offline stores.
Completing the latest additions is Halo Sunset, a new shade for the Artist Cushion Highlighter. The warm tone brings a subtle, sun-kissed glow to the complexion and will be available exclusively at JUNGSAEMMOOL stores.
Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer
Biossance is bringing back its Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer with a new look, while keeping the formula unchanged.
The lightweight gel moisturiser combines hydration with encapsulated probiotics designed to support the skin’s microbiome. Its non-comedogenic formula is made with sensitive, redness-prone and congested skin in mind, delivering moisture without a rich or heavy feel.
This time, the update is on the outside. The moisturiser now comes with an airless pump, giving the familiar Biossance favourite a cleaner and more practical way to dispense the formula.
LANEIGE Acai Mango Smoothie Lip Sleeping Mask & Lip Glowy Balm
LANEIGE is bringing a little summer to its signature lip care with the limited-edition Acai Mango Smoothie collection.
The new flavour appears across both the Lip Sleeping Mask and Lip Glowy Balm, dressed in marbled swirls of mango yellow and acai purple with a fruity Acai Mango scent.
Made for overnight care, the Lip Sleeping Mask combines Berry Fruit Complex™, Vitamin C and Coconut Oil to replenish moisture while lips rest.
The Lip Glowy Balm takes care of the daytime routine with Shea Butter and Murumuru Seed Butter in a lightweight formula. It leaves behind a glossy finish that can be worn alone or layered over lip colour.
Together, the two give LANEIGE’s familiar lip favourites a playful seasonal update, taking the Acai Mango Smoothie theme from night to day.
