G-DRAGON is joining McDonald’s for a new Asia-wide collaboration, bringing food and fashion together across 13 markets from September 17.
McDonald’s Korea developed a new Gochujang Butter Sauce for the collaboration, which will make its way to participating markets across Asia with different menu offerings.
In South Korea, the McCrispy Gochujang Butter and McSpicy Gochujang Butter will be released on September 17. Both come with Gochujang Butter Sauce and Colby Jack cheese, while the sauce will also be available separately as a dipping option.
There is a fashion side to the collaboration too. G-DRAGON’s label, PEACEMINUSONE, will release limited-edition merchandise with McDonald’s later this month. More details on the collection are expected to be shared closer to its release.
With G-DRAGON fronting the campaign and PEACEMINUSONE joining for the merchandise, the collaboration takes the project beyond the menu and into fashion.
