BIGBANG turns Weekend 2 into a statement with world tour reveal

K-pop legends BIGBANG returned for Weekend 2 at Coachella Valley Music and
Arts Festival on April 19, and this time, it felt different from the start. The crowd
already knew what was coming, and met them at that level instantly. If Weekend 1
was about the return, Weekend 2 was about pushing it further.

They opened with “BANG BANG BANG,” and “FANTASTIC BABY,” but there was
no build needed this time. The energy was already there. The set moved fast
through “SOBER,” “A FOOL OF TEARS,” “LOSER,” “HARU HARU,” and “LIES,” each
track landing harder, louder, with the crowd fully locked in

20 years ago BIGBANG began, but we are not done yet.
Like our name, this is just the beginning.

The solo stages hit with more force. Taeyang stepped forward with “RINGA
LINGA,” sharp and controlled, while G-Dragon took over with “POWER,” carrying
straight into “GOOD BOY,” where both of them turned the stage into one of the
loudest moments of the night.

Daesung followed, keeping that same energy with “날 봐, 귀순 (Look At Me,
Gwisun),” and “Handsome Guy (Hando Choa),” fully in sync with the crowd.

By the time “HOME SWEET HOME,” and “BAE BAE” came in, the set had shifted
into something closer to a full BIGBANG show rather than a festival slot. “WE
LIKE 2 PARTY,” kept it loose, before “STILL LIFE,” brought everything back down,
closing the night on a different note.

BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary world tour will begin this
August. This is going to be crazy, so do not miss out and
stay tuned.

The announcement came directly from G-Dragon, with no buildup, no pause.
Just a statement, delivered in front of thousands. It landed instantly.

The group has not toured together since their 2017 “Last Dance” run, and
announcing a world tour on a stage like this says everything about where they
are now. Dates are expected across Asia, Europe, and North America, with more
details to follow through YG Entertainment.

There was no attempt to hold back this time. The energy felt looser, louder, and
more unfiltered. Every moment, from the stage to the crowd, carried a sense that
this was not just a return, but a shift.

Weekend 2 did not just continue what they started.

It made it clear, BIGBANG are not here for a moment. They are here for what
comes next.
