DIOR CRUISE 2027

for this collection, which came to life like a field of
Californian poppies in late spring.”

Dior brought Cruise 2027 to Los Angeles on May 13, unveiling the collection at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with a runway inspired by the glamour and atmosphere of old Hollywood.
Designed by Jonathan Anderson, the show blended Dior’s Parisian heritage with the energy of Los Angeles. Street lamps lined the runway while vintage convertibles framed the set, transforming the museum grounds into a cinematic backdrop reminiscent of classic films.

For Cruise 2027, Anderson revisited Dior’s long-standing relationship with Hollywood. One of the collection’s references came from a 1949 haute couture jacket worn by Marlene Dietrich in Stage Fright, while florals inspired by the Californian poppy appeared throughout the collection as a recurring detail.

Bouclé jackets with frayed edges, embroidered lace gowns, patchwork scarves and oversized shearling coats moved through the runway alongside sequinned tailoring, leather trousers and relaxed pyjama-inspired shirts. The collection balanced structure with ease, bringing together couture
elements with a softer California attitude.

Accessories also played a strong role throughout the show, introducing updated versions of the Saddle Bag alongside crescent-shaped shoulder
The front row brought together a mix of fashion, film and music figures including Jisoo, Anya Taylor-Joy, Miranda Kerr, Deva Cassel, Irene Kim, Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter.

Among the standout appearances of the night, Jisoo arrived in a monochromatic ruffled look from Dior’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, styled with the iconic black leather Lady Dior bag and Dior Bow pumps.
Closing the show, Jonathan Anderson’s vision for Dior Cruise 2027 brought together Hollywood nostalgia, couture references and modern Californian dressing, shaping a collection that introduced a new creative direction for the House while staying closely tied to Dior’s signature
elegance.
