Louis Vuitton unveiled its Cruise 2027 fashion show in New York City on May 20, with Nicolas Ghesquière transforming the historic The Frick Collection into the backdrop for the House’s latest runway.
Surrounded by classical artworks and the grandeur of the museum’s interiors, the runway reflected a mix of old New York elegance and modern city energy. The setting mirrored the collection itself, where Parisian tailoring met a sharper and more effortless American attitude
Structured coats, elongated silhouettes and layered monochrome looks moved through the runway across the night. Darker tones and rich textures gave the collection a more dramatic mood, while the tailoring remained clean and polished in a way that felt closely tied to Ghesquière’s
vision for Louis Vuitton.
The front row brought together global ambassadors and Hollywood names including
Zendaya, Felix, Anne Hathaway, Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett and Emily Blunt.
Felix appeared in a custom all-black tailored look created by Nicolas Ghesquière,

featuring a structured double-breasted coat with rounded collar detailing, strong
shoulders and asymmetrical construction layered over monochrome tailoring. The look
carried the same sharp and architectural feel seen throughout the runway.

Jung Ho-yeon leaned into the darker mood of the night in an oversized black leather
jacket layered over a sheer mesh top and textured velvet trousers, finished with a
classic Louis Vuitton Monogram handbag.
For Cruise 2027, Nicolas Ghesquière brought together New York’s atmosphere with Louis Vuitton’s Parisian roots, shaping a runway filled with strong tailoring, darker glamour and modern city dressing
